Jatkojohto EUROLITE 3024701E 3x2,5 mm 5 m

EUROLITE 3024701E extension cable is a 5-meter mains lead with three conductors of 2.5 mm² cross-section designed to extend electrical power connections. It provides a fixed-length solution for connecting lighting, equipment, and power tools where an existing socket is out of reach, offering straightforward installation and reliable current transmission for household and professional use.

Advantages

The cable's 2.5 mm² conductor size supports higher current loads than thinner leads, reducing voltage drop over its 5 m length and ensuring stable power delivery. The three-core design includes live, neutral and earth conductors for safe earthing and compatibility with standard mains plugs and sockets. Its robust insulation and flexible outer sheath allow easy handling, routing and placement in indoor environments while maintaining electrical safety when used according to regulations.

How to use

Connect the mains plug of the extension cable to a compatible wall socket and plug the device to be powered into the cable's socket, ensuring correct polarity and secure connections. Route the cable to avoid sharp edges, hot surfaces and tripping hazards, and do not overload the cable beyond the allowable current for 2.5 mm² conductors. If any damage to the insulation or conductors is visible, discontinue use and replace the cable or have it repaired by a qualified electrician.

Recommendations

Use the extension cable indoors or in covered temporary installations and ensure the total current draw of connected devices remains within safe limits for 2.5 mm² wiring. Avoid permanent concealed installations and exposure to water unless the cable and connectors are specifically rated for such conditions. For event and professional setups, verify local electrical codes and, if necessary, involve a certified electrician to confirm correct use and protection.
