Kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS70135-5 5 m musta

The ShiverPeaks BS70135-5 5 m Black is a 5‑metre communication cable with RJ‑10 connectors on both ends. Designed for voice and low‑speed data connections, this cable provides a simple, durable link between compatible telephony devices, adapters and some small office equipment. The black jacket and flexible construction make it unobtrusive in residential and professional installations while preserving signal integrity over the full length.

Advantages

This cable features standard RJ‑10 terminations for broad compatibility with devices that accept 4‑position modular plugs. The 5 m length offers extended reach for desk setups, wall connections and patching between terminals without the need for additional adapters. Its black outer sheath resists visible wear and blends into office environments, while the construction supports stable, low‑interference connectivity for voice and similar low‑bandwidth signals.

Suitable for

• Connecting desk telephones to wall jacks or base units
• Linking telephone handsets to compatible telephone bases
• Extending reach between small communication devices in home or office
• Temporary patching in call centres or reception areas

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 metres
• Connector type: RJ‑10 (4‑position modular plug) on both ends
• Colour: Black outer jacket
• Intended signals: Voice and low‑speed data/serial communications
• Construction: Flexible jacket suitable for indoor use

How to use

Insert each RJ‑10 plug into the matching modular jack on the devices you want to connect until it clicks into place. Ensure connectors are fully seated to avoid intermittent connections. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, pinch points and heat sources; secure with cable clips or ties if necessary to maintain a tidy installation. To disconnect, press the connector latch and gently withdraw the plug.

Recommendations

For reliable voice performance, use this cable for handset and desk telephone connections and avoid running it parallel to high‑voltage power lines or heavy data cables to minimize potential interference. Inspect connectors periodically for wear and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show visible damage.
