Kaapeliliitin RCA ShiverPeaks BS52001-Y

The ShiverPeaks BS52001-Y is a stainless steel female RCA wire connector designed for audio and video signal connections. Machined from durable stainless steel, the connector provides a corrosion-resistant interface that fits standard RCA plugs. Supplied as a single unit, it is suitable for replacing a worn connector or upgrading the physical quality of existing cabling assemblies.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction offers strength and resistance to corrosion, extending service life in typical home and professional environments. The female RCA configuration ensures compatibility with common male RCA plugs used in AV equipment. Its compact, precision-machined design provides stable electrical contact and reduces the risk of loose connections or intermittent signals.

Suitable for

• Repairing or replacing a damaged female RCA connector on audio or video cables
• Upgrading cable terminations for consumer audio systems, AV receivers and DVD/Blu-ray players
• Custom cable assemblies for home theater, studio or broadcast applications
• Temporary or permanent installations where a robust metal connector is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: Female RCA (phono) connector
• Material: Stainless steel housing and contact components
• Finish: Brushed stainless steel appearance
• Pack quantity: 1 connector per pack
• Compatibility: Fits standard RCA male plugs used in audio and composite video systems

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket and exposing the core conductor and shield according to the cable type. Slide any outer sleeve or housing onto the cable before soldering or crimping. Attach the central conductor to the female contact and secure the shield to the outer sleeve or body as required by the connector design. Reassemble the housing and verify mechanical fit and electrical continuity with the mating plug. Ensure proper insulation and strain relief to prevent cable damage during use.

Recommendations

For reliable signal transfer, use the connector with properly prepared cables and secure electrical connections. Avoid excessive mechanical stress on the cable near the connector and inspect connections periodically for wear or corrosion in harsh environments.
