Kaapelilukko Compulocks MBPR15 BR Wedge hopea

The Compulocks MBPR15 BR Wedge Silver is a security kit designed specifically for MacBook Pro Retina 15" models. The kit includes a super-slim aerospace-grade aluminum wedge bracket that mounts to the bottom rear of the MacBook Pro Retina using the laptop's original screw holes, together with a keyed cable lock. The bracket is 1 mm thick, ultra-light (under 0.1 lb) and supplied with four dedicated screws and a screwdriver for installation. This solution preserves the laptop's slim profile while providing a physical anchor point for theft deterrence. Not compatible with 2016/2017 MacBook Pro models.

Advantages

The bracket is made from high-grade aerospace aluminum for durability and minimal added weight. Its 1 mm thin profile and low weight maintain the MacBook Pro Retina's sleek look and portability. The kit includes a keyed lock with two keys for secure attachment and convenient access. Installation uses existing screw holes and the supplied screws and driver, avoiding modifications to the chassis. The silver finish matches the MacBook aesthetic.

Recommendations

Use this kit only with compatible MacBook Pro Retina 15" models and avoid use on 2016/2017 MacBook Pro variants. Check screw torque lightly to avoid overtightening; inspect the cable and bracket regularly for signs of wear. For added security, mount the cable to an immovable fixture and store the spare key separately from the laptop.
