Kaapelipihdit ShiverPeaks BS73000-8M

The ShiverPeaks BS73000-8M cable crimper is designed for precise crimping of connectors on a variety of cables. The tool combines an ergonomic grip with durable construction to deliver consistent results for both occasional DIY tasks and routine professional work. Its compact profile and mechanical leverage provide controlled crimping force suitable for standard insulated and non-insulated terminals.

Advantages

The ergonomic handle reduces hand fatigue during repeated use and enhances grip control for accurate placement of terminals. Robust jaws and a solid hinge mechanism ensure even pressure distribution across the connector, reducing the risk of poor contact or damage to the cable. The tool’s construction is intended for long service life and dependable performance in workshop and field environments.

Suitable for

• Crimping insulated and non-insulated terminals on electrical cables
• Automotive wiring repairs and installations
• Home electrical projects and electronics hobby work
• Field service and maintenance tasks requiring portable hand tools

Key specifications

• Hand-operated crimper with manual leverage mechanism
• Ergonomic handle design for improved comfort and control
• Durable metal jaws and hinge for repeated use
• Suitable for a range of common connector sizes used in electrical work
• Compact, portable form factor for workshop or field use

How to use

Position the stripped cable conductor into the appropriate connector and insert the connector into the crimper jaws. Squeeze the handles evenly until the crimp is completed and the connector is firmly attached to the conductor. Release the handles and inspect the crimp for uniform compression and reliable mechanical and electrical contact. For best results, choose the correct connector size and ensure the conductor is properly stripped and aligned before crimping.

Recommendations

Use the tool with connectors and conductor sizes within the recommended range; avoid applying excessive force beyond normal hand operation. Regularly inspect the jaws for wear and keep the hinge lightly lubricated to maintain consistent crimp quality. Store the crimper in a dry place to prevent corrosion and ensure long-term reliability.
