LogiLink WZ0039 puristuspihdit Cat. 6 & 6A -liittimille

The LogiLink Crimping Tool WZ0039 for Cat. 6 & 6A Connectors is a handheld tool engineered to terminate RJ45 Cat6 and Cat6A network plugs with consistent results. Designed for cable installers and technicians, it combines a ratcheting mechanism with an ergonomic grip to provide controlled pressure during the crimping process. The tool is intended to support reliable electrical contact and firm mechanical connection between twisted-pair cable conductors and modular plug contacts when assembling or repairing Ethernet patch cables and permanent links.

Advantages

The crimping tool offers a ratchet-controlled action that ensures complete crimp cycles and reduces the risk of under- or over-crimping. An ergonomic handle reduces hand fatigue during repetitive operations, while the rigid metal construction provides long service life under regular field or workshop use. The integrated cutter and stripper features streamline cable preparation, allowing faster workflow without the need for multiple separate tools.

Suitable for

• Termination of Cat6 and Cat6A RJ45 modular plugs on network patch cables
• On-site network installation and maintenance in offices and data closets
• DIY assembly and repair of Ethernet cables for home or small business

Key specifications

• Compatible connector types: RJ45 for Cat6 and Cat6A
• Operation: ratcheting crimp mechanism for consistent pressure
• Integrated functions: cable cutting and insulation stripping
• Handle: ergonomic, non-slip grip for extended use
• Construction: hardened metal crimping head for durability

How to use

Prepare the cable by cutting to length and removing the outer jacket to expose the twisted pairs. Untwist and arrange the conductors to the desired wiring standard, then trim the wires evenly and insert them fully into the RJ45 Cat6/6A plug. Place the plug into the crimping die, ensure correct alignment, and squeeze the handles until the ratchet completes the cycle and releases. If needed, use the tool's integrated cutter to trim excess conductor length and the stripper to remove jacket segments during preparation.

Recommendations

For consistent network performance, verify wiring order and conductor seating before crimping, and test terminated cables with an appropriate cable tester. Use the tool with plugs rated for Cat6/6A to maintain required performance characteristics; avoid excessive force beyond the ratchet mechanism to prevent connector or conductor damage.
