Advantages

The adapter supports simple, passive conversion between a PS/2 connector and a USB Type-A plug without additional drivers. Its compact form factor and metal-accented housing provide mechanical durability and a stable connection for daily use.

Suitable for

How to use

Insert the PS/2 plug of the keyboard or mouse into the adapter’s PS/2 connector, then plug the USB Type-A end into an available USB port on the computer. The adapter is passive; if the connected PS/2 device requires active signal conversion, use a compatible active converter or an appropriate PS/2-to-USB interface device.

Recommendations

Ensure the PS/2 device is compatible with passive adapters; some keyboards or mice with proprietary electronics may not work and may require an active converter. Avoid excessive bending of the adapter and connectors to maintain reliable contact.
