Kaapelisovitin LogiLink NP0054

The LogiLink NP0054 is a compact grey RJ45 cable gender changer that lets you join two RJ45 patch cables for a continuous connection. Designed for both shielded and unshielded cables, this female-to-female inline coupler provides a simple way to extend Ethernet or telephone patch cords in home and office environments without changing the cable ends.

Advantages

The inline coupler provides a reliable feed-through connection with two RJ45 female ports, is small and easy to position in tight spaces, and supports both shielded and unshielded patch cables. Its durable construction and neutral colour make it unobtrusive in networking setups.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet patch cords in home networks
• Extending telephone or data patch cords in offices
• Joining two RJ45 cables when a longer run is needed

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug of the first patch cable into one female RJ45 port of the NP0054 and insert the RJ45 plug of the second patch cable into the other port. Ensure both plugs are fully seated to establish a secure connection. Use the coupler inline where additional length is required; avoid placing it under tension or in areas where it may be repeatedly bent.

Recommendations

For best results, match shielded-to-shielded and unshielded-to-unshielded cable types to preserve shielding integrity. Avoid using multiple couplers in sequence to minimise potential signal loss; for long permanent runs consider replacing with a single continuous cable.
