Kaapelisovitin ShiverPeaks BS57020 2,5 mm → 3,5 mm musta

The ShiverPeaks BS57020 cable gender changer converts a 2.5 mm audio connector to a 3.5 mm connector in a compact, black housing. Designed for straightforward signal transfer between devices with different jack sizes, this adapter features nickel-plated contacts for improved conductivity and resistance to corrosion. Its small form factor and neutral appearance make it convenient for temporary or permanent connections in home, office, or studio setups.

Advantages

The adapter's nickel-plated contacts support stable audio transmission and reduce contact wear over time. Its compact, lightweight construction allows for easy portability and discreet installation without adding significant bulk to connected cables. The universal black finish matches a variety of audio equipment and minimizes visual distraction in professional environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting older or specialized equipment with a 2.5 mm jack to modern devices with a 3.5 mm input
• Adapters for headsets, portable audio players, and communication devices
• Temporary cable conversions in testing, repair, or multimedia setups

Key specifications

• Connector A: 2.5 mm audio jack
• Connector B: 3.5 mm audio jack
• Contacts: nickel-plated for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Colour: black
• Form factor: compact inline adapter

How to use

Insert the 2.5 mm end of the adapter into the device with the smaller jack and connect the 3.5 mm plug of your cable or accessory to the opposite end. Ensure both connections are fully seated to maintain reliable audio transmission. Use the adapter with devices that do not require specific wiring configurations (for example TRS vs TRRS) unless compatibility is confirmed, to avoid partial or missing signals.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, avoid excessive bending or strain at the connection points and disconnect by pulling the adapter body rather than tugging the cable. Keep contacts clean and avoid exposure to moisture to preserve the nickel plating and maintain good electrical contact.
