Kaapelisovitin ShiverPeaks BS57021 3,5 mm → 2,5 mm musta hopea

The ShiverPeaks BS57021 Cable Gender Changer provides a compact solution for connecting audio devices with mismatched jack sizes. One end features a 3.5 mm connector and the other a 2.5 mm connector, with nickel-plated contacts for improved conductivity and resistance to wear. The adapter is finished in black and silver and is intended for inline use where a direct conversion between these two common audio connectors is required.

Advantages

The nickel-plated contacts reduce signal loss and corrosion compared with untreated contacts, helping to maintain clear audio transmission. Its compact form factor allows the adapter to be used discreetly without adding significant bulk to a cable run. The straightforward, passive design requires no power or software, providing immediate compatibility between 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm audio jacks.

Suitable for

• Connecting headphones or headsets with a 2.5 mm plug to devices with a 3.5 mm socket
• Adapting audio cables for portable players, radios, or older mobile phones
• Temporary or travel setups where a compact adapter is needed

Key specifications

• Connector 1: 3.5 mm
• Connector 2: 2.5 mm
• Contact finish: nickel-plated
• Colour: black and silver
• Type: passive inline gender changer/adapter

How to use

Insert the 3.5 mm plug or socket of the cable or device into the corresponding end of the adapter, then connect the other device using the 2.5 mm connector. Ensure connections are fully seated to avoid intermittent contact. As a passive adapter, it functions immediately without configuration; remove by gently pulling on the adapter body rather than the cable to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the adapter dry and store it in a protective pouch to prevent dust and debris from entering the connectors. Avoid subjecting the adapter to heavy mechanical stress or bending at the junctions to preserve the integrity of the nickel-plated contacts and maintain reliable audio performance.
