Kaapelisovitin Toslink ShiverPeaks BS69056

The ShiverPeaks BS69056 Toslink cable gender changer is an optical audio adapter designed to join two Toslink (optical) cables to extend length or change connector gender in a digital audio chain. Constructed with a durable shell and finished in black, the adapter provides a simple way to restore signal continuity between devices that use standard Toslink optical connectors, such as AV receivers, soundbars, televisions and digital audio sources.

Advantages

This Toslink gender changer offers a compact and robust construction that preserves optical signal transmission while minimizing insertion loss. The black finish resists wear and blends with typical home and professional AV installations. Its design requires no tools or configuration, enabling quick setup and reliable long-term use in stationary or semi-permanent audio arrangements.

Suitable for

• Extending optical audio cable runs by connecting two Toslink cables
• Changing connector gender to match existing Toslink cables and devices
• Home theatre systems, soundbars and TV audio connections
• Studio and professional audio setups using standard optical interfaces

Key specifications

• Connector type: Toslink optical (female to female)
• Material: durable outer shell with optical coupling
• Finish: black
• Function: optical signal coupling for digital audio
• Form factor: compact, inline adapter

How to use

Align the Toslink plugs of each cable with the adapter openings and push gently until secure. Ensure the optical connectors are clean and free of dust before making the connection to maintain optimal signal quality. Once connected, verify audio output from the source device and the receiving device; no additional setup or power is required.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep optical cable ends covered when not in use and avoid sharp bends in the connected cables. If you experience signal interruptions, inspect connectors for dust or damage and reseat the cables. Use quality Toslink cables that match the required length and routing for stable digital-audio transmission.
