Kaiutinkaapeli ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x0,75 mm² läpinäkyvä CCA 100 m

ShiverPeaks BASIC-S speaker cable with two conductors of 0.75 mm² each and a transparent jacket. The cable uses CCA (copper-clad aluminum) conductors and comes on a 100 m reel, offering a lightweight and budget-oriented solution for basic audio connections. It is intended for short to medium-length runs in home audio, car audio or PA setups where cost-effectiveness and flexibility are priorities and pure copper conductors are not required.

Advantages

The transparent jacket allows visual inspection of conductor condition and simplifies identification during installation. CCA construction reduces weight and material cost while maintaining adequate conductivity for short runs and low- to moderate-power applications. The 0.75 mm² conductor cross-section provides a balance between flexibility and current-carrying capacity for typical speaker setups, and the 100 m reel format is convenient for multiple terminations or longer installations without frequent joins.

Suitable for

• Home hi-fi speaker wiring for short to medium cable runs
• Car audio systems where space and weight are constrained
• Basic public-address (PA) or background-music installations
• Temporary setups and tradespeople requiring an economical speaker cable

Key specifications

• Conductor type: copper-clad aluminum (CCA)
• Number of conductors: 2 (stereo pair)
• Conductor cross-section: 0.75 mm² per conductor
• Jacket: transparent, flexible PVC
• Reel length: 100 m
• Typical applications: speaker cable for low- to medium-power audio systems

How to use

Strip the jacket and insulation carefully to expose the conductors, taking care not to nick the CCA strands. Observe polarity markings or conductor identification when connecting to amplifier and speaker terminals to maintain correct phase. For best performance, keep individual run lengths as short as practical and avoid sharp bends or tight coils. Terminate with appropriate banana plugs, spade lugs or soldered connections depending on equipment requirements and ensure secure mechanical and electrical contacts.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short to medium speaker runs and low- to moderate-power systems; avoid long runs or high-current professional systems where full copper conductors are recommended. Inspect terminations periodically and replace cable if insulation or conductor damage is observed.
