There’s nothing complicated about this wearable scanner: it’s simple to purchase, deploy, wear and manage. An optional Device Tracker license makes it easy to find a missing RS2100 scanner. Get the edge you need to compete in today’s economy with the RS2100 Wearable Scanner — a new level of wearable comfort, productivity and simplicity.

The Easiest Wearable Experience for Your Workforce
Ready to use right out of the box
Workers will intuitively know how to wear the RS2100. The RS2100 mount comfortably fits all hand sizes, so there’s no need to order and manage different mounting sizes; you simply choose right- or left-hand versions. And the battery is embedded, eliminating the need to manage separate batteries.

No more lost scanners
If your business struggles with lost and misplaced wearable scanners, Device Tracker1 is the answer you’ve been waiting for. This optional Mobility DNA tool makes it easy to pinpoint the location of a missing RS2100, whether it was left behind in a break room or on a warehouse shelf. And you can create a virtual tether to prevent workers from leaving their wearable scanner or mobile computer behind. No more time-consuming searches, workflow interruptions or replacement costs.

Fast and flawless barcode capture
Our high performance scan engine with PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology enables lightning fast capture of virtually any 1D/2D barcode, even if they are damaged, poorly printed or dirty. The wider field of view creates a bigger sweet spot to make it even easier to scan any size barcode — large or small.

A New Standard in Worker Comfort and Productivity
Smallest enterprise wearable scanner in the market
When your workers are scanning hundreds or thousands of items per shift, user comfort is critical. The RS2100 is practically weightless at just a little over one ounce (31 g), minimizing fatigue over long shifts. At only 0.57 in./14.6 mm high, the RS2100 features the lowest profile on the market for effortless picking — even in the tightest spaces.

Best-in-class “bare palm” gripping capability
The innovative back of hand mount leaves the entire palm free — unlike other back of hand scanners that have a cumbersome strap across the palm or cover the palm completely. With fully bare palms, workers get a better and more secure grip on the items they’re handling — boosting productivity and reducing breakage.

How to use

Choose the left‑ or right‑hand version, slide the RS2100 onto the back of the hand and adjust the mount for a comfortable fit. Power on the device and pair it with a host using Bluetooth according to the Zebra pairing procedure. Aim the scanner at barcodes within the device’s field of view and press the trigger to capture codes. Recharge the embedded battery as required following the manufacturer’s charging instructions.

Recommendations

For best scanning performance, keep the scan window clean and position items so barcodes are within the scanner’s field of view. Use Device Tracker to reduce downtime from misplaced scanners and choose the bare‑palm mount for tasks requiring a secure grip and frequent manual handling.
