Käsityynyt 3M superhieno 158 x 224 mm, pakkaus malli 7100182598

3M superfine abrasive hand pads, size 158 x 224 mm, are non-woven manual abrasive tools designed for fine surface preparation and finishing. These hand pads provide superfine abrasive action to remove light defects, blend edges and create an even surface texture prior to painting, coating or sealing. Their soft, conformable web structure adapts to contours and profiles, allowing controlled material removal on metal, wood and painted substrates in workshops and maintenance environments.

Advantages

These superfine hand pads deliver consistent, low-aggression abrasion that reduces the risk of deep scratch patterns while producing a uniform matte finish ready for subsequent treatment. The non-woven construction sheds minimally and resists loading, extending usable life compared with conventional open-coat abrasives. Their hand-friendly format and flexible size make them easy to use on flat and curved areas without the need for power tools, improving access in tight or intricate spots.

How to use

Hold the 3M superfine hand pad with even pressure and work along the surface using uniform strokes. For flat areas use broad, overlapping passes; for contours or edges follow the shape to maintain an even finish. Check progress frequently to avoid over-sanding, and replace the pad when abrasive effectiveness diminishes. After reaching the desired texture, clean the surface of dust and residues before applying primer, paint or other coatings.

Recommendations

Use light, controlled pressure and change pads as they become clogged or worn to maintain consistent results. For best results on painted panels, test on a small area first to confirm the desired finish and compatibility with subsequent coatings.
