Katkaisulaikka Metabo 616274000

The Metabo 616274000 cutting disc is designed for precise cutting of steel materials. This single flat-centre disc provides a balance of cutting performance and durability for a variety of metalworking tasks. It is suitable for use with compatible angle grinders and other power tools intended for thin cutting discs, offering stable operation and predictable cutting behavior when correctly fitted and used according to tool specifications.

Advantages

This cutting disc has a flat centre profile that helps ensure secure mounting and accurate alignment on the tool spindle. Constructed for steel cutting, the disc combines abrasive composition and bonding to deliver consistent cut quality while maintaining resistance to wear. Supplied as a single unit, it is convenient for replacement and inventory management in small workshops or on a job site.

Suitable for

• Precision cutting of steel sheets and profiles
• On-site metal fabrication and repair work
• Preparation of metal parts for welding or assembly
• Trimming protruding bolts, studs, and fasteners

Key specifications

• Material compatibility: steel
• Disc profile: flat centre
• Pack quantity: 1 piece
• Designed for use with angle grinders and compatible cutting tools

How to use

Before use, inspect the disc for visible damage and ensure it matches the tool's allowed disc dimensions and rotational speed. Mount the disc on the grinder according to the tool manufacturer's instructions, making sure the flat centre sits correctly on the spindle and the clamping flange is tightened securely. Hold the tool firmly with both hands, position the disc at the intended cutting line, and apply steady, controlled feed without forcing the disc. Allow the abrasive to perform the cut; excessive pressure can reduce disc life and increase risk of damage. After cutting, allow the disc to come to a complete stop before setting the tool down.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves. Verify the tool's maximum RPM rating matches or exceeds the safe operating speed of the disc. Do not use the disc for grinding, side loading, or on materials other than steel unless specifically approved by the tool and disc manufacturers. Store the disc flat in a dry environment to preserve its condition.
