Kattoon asennettava array-mikrofoni YAMAHA RM-CG beamforming- ja dynaamisella puheenseurannalla (Dante, PoE+) – valkoinen

The YAMAHA RM-CG is a ceiling array microphone engineered for professional conferencing and AV installations. With integrated beamforming and Dynamic Voice Tracking, the RM-CG captures speech clearly across meeting rooms and lecture halls while maintaining a low-profile ceiling presence. The unit supports Dante audio networking for flexible routing and PoE+ for simplified power and installation, making it suitable for hybrid collaboration environments that require reliable ceiling-mounted microphone coverage.

Advantages

The RM-CG combines beamforming technology with Dynamic Voice Tracking to prioritize active speakers automatically and reduce ambient noise, improving intelligibility for remote participants. Its compatibility with Dante audio-over-IP enables scalable multi-channel routing and easy integration into modern AV networks. PoE+ support reduces cabling complexity and simplifies installation in suspended ceilings or flush-mounted setups.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This ceiling array microphone is designed specifically for fixed installations and may be excessive for small informal rooms where a single tabletop microphone or USB boundary mic would suffice. Environments without Dante network infrastructure or where PoE+ is unavailable will require additional network and power planning.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the RM-CG in a ceiling tile or recessed opening at the room centre or above the primary speaking area, following building and AV installation guidelines. Connect the device to a Dante-enabled network switch that provides PoE+ to supply both audio connectivity and power. Configure beamforming zones and Dynamic Voice Tracking parameters using compatible Dante or YAMAHA control software to match room layout and seating arrangements. Route audio channels to conferencing systems or DSP units via the Dante network for processing and distribution.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Position the ceiling array centrally over the speaking area and calibrate beamforming zones to minimize reflections from hard surfaces. Use Dante Controller or compatible management tools to manage routing and to monitor device status. For best speech intelligibility, combine the RM-CG with room acoustic treatment and appropriate loudspeaker placement in the AV system.
