Kaukosäädin EQ5-jalustalle, Sky-Watcher Advanced malli SW-4322

The Sky-Watcher Advanced wired remote control (model SW-4322) is designed specifically for EQ5 series telescope mounts to provide direct manual control during observation and astrophotography sessions. The accessory connects to compatible EQ5 mounts and enables precise slewing, fine adjustments, and execution of common alignment and tracking functions. Its wired design offers a reliable connection for routine pointing tasks and incremental movement control while setting up or guiding a telescope.

Advantages

This remote delivers tactile, immediate control over mount movements and alignment routines without relying on a computer or wireless link. The wired connection minimizes input lag and signal interruption during critical positioning and tracking. Controls are grouped for intuitive operation, allowing momentary and continuous slewing at multiple speeds and access to core tracking functions used in visual observation and short-exposure astrophotography.

How to use

Connect the controller to the dedicated control port on the EQ5 mount before powering the mount. Use the directional controls to slew the telescope to the desired region of the sky, switching slewing speeds as needed for coarse or fine positioning. Initiate or adjust tracking and alignment functions using the dedicated buttons following the mount’s alignment procedure in the EQ5 user manual. During observation or imaging, apply short presses for fine adjustments and hold buttons for continuous slewing to relocate between targets.

Recommendations

Ensure the mount is powered and initialized according to the EQ5 mount instructions before operating the remote. Avoid excessive force on connector and cable when connecting or storing the controller. For astrophotography, perform final framing and guide corrections at the slowest slewing speed to minimize vibration and improve pointing accuracy.
