Ketjulukko FISCHER 85898, 900 mm pituus, karkaistu teräs, musta

Chain lock FISCHER 85898 is a 900 mm security chain made of hardened steel with a black finish. It is designed to secure bicycles, scooters and other portable items, combining flexible installation around frames or posts with a compact form factor for everyday use. The hardened steel links provide resistance to cutting tools and the black coating reduces corrosion while keeping the chain visually discreet.

Advantages

The hardened steel construction increases resistance to common cutting attempts while maintaining manageable weight for portability. The 900 mm length allows the chain to wrap around frames, wheels and fixed posts, offering versatile locking positions. A black protective finish helps prevent rust and reduces visible wear, and the compact design makes it convenient to carry or stow when not in use.

Suitable for

• Locking bicycles to racks, posts or railings
• Securing scooters and kickbikes during short stops
• Temporary protection for outdoor equipment and portable gear
• Use at home, workplace or urban environments

Key specifications

• Length: 900 mm
• Material: hardened steel links
• Finish: black protective coating
• Design: flexible chain suitable for wrapping around objects
• Portability: compact for carrying or storage

How to use

Wrap the chain around the frame, wheel or other secure point and through fixed objects such as a post or rack, then secure with a compatible lock (lock not included). Ensure the chain passes through the bicycle frame and at least one wheel when possible to reduce the chance of easy removal. Avoid leaving the chain in direct contact with painted surfaces for long periods to minimize potential abrasion. Store the chain in a dry place after use to preserve the protective finish.

Recommendations

For improved security, combine the chain with a high-quality padlock or U-lock and position the chain to minimize exposed link space. Use the chain in well-lit, visible locations and avoid leaving the item unattended for extended periods in high-risk areas.
