Kiristystyökalu Bessey Clippix XCL 70/110 säädettävä leukaleveys 70 mm

The Bessey Clippix XCL 70/110 Adjustable Jaw Width 70 mm is a clamping tool designed to secure workpieces during assembly, gluing and light woodworking tasks. It features an adjustable jaw width of 70 mm and the Clippix quick-action mechanism that allows one-handed clamping and release. The tool is intended to provide stable pressure and facilitate repetitive clamping operations for both hobbyists and professional users.

Advantages

The Clippix mechanism enables fast, one-handed operation, reducing cycle time when positioning and securing parts. The adjustable jaw width provides flexibility for different material thicknesses while maintaining consistent clamping pressure. The tool's compact design supports use in confined spaces and on jigs or fixtures. Materials and construction are selected to offer durability under normal workshop use and to ensure reliable performance during assembly and gluing operations.

Suitable for

• Holding small to medium workpieces during glue-ups
• Light woodworking and hobby carpentry
• Temporary fixturing during assembly and fitting
• Clamping in confined spaces or on jigs

Key specifications

• Adjustable jaw width: 70 mm
• Clamping mechanism: quick-action Clippix for one-handed use
• Intended pressure type: stable manual clamping pressure suitable for assembly and glue work
• Application range: light woodworking, hobby and assembly tasks
• Form factor: compact bar clamp style for use in confined spaces

How to use

Position the clamp so the jaws contact the workpiece surfaces to be held. Use the Clippix mechanism to engage and tighten the clamp with one hand until the required pressure is achieved while avoiding excessive force that could damage the material. Release the clamp by activating the Clippix release, allowing safe removal of the workpiece. For repeat operations, ensure consistent placement of the clamp on the same contact points for uniform pressure distribution.

Recommendations

For glue-ups, protect finished surfaces with thin pads or scrap wood between the clamp jaws and the workpiece. Avoid overtightening on soft materials; increase the number of clamps instead of force to ensure even pressure across joints. Store the clamp in a dry place and inspect moving parts periodically for debris or wear to maintain smooth Clippix action.
