kirjekuori MAILmedia DIN lang itseliimautuva 75 g/m² – MAILmedia 47230

Envelope MAILmedia DIN long self-adhesive 75 g/m² – MAILmedia 47230 is a DL-format envelope designed for sending documents, invoices and letters. Made from 75 g/m² paper, it provides a balance of opacity and flexibility suitable for everyday postal use. The envelope includes a self-adhesive closure that seals quickly without moisture, and its format fits standard long (DL) inserts such as unfolded A4 sheets, checks and narrow brochures. The construction supports both manual addressing and use with many desktop printers and mailing machines.

Advantages

The 75 g/m² paper weight offers improved resistance to tearing and higher opacity compared with lightweight mailing papers, helping to protect contents and reduce show-through. The self-adhesive strip ensures fast, reliable sealing without licking or additional tape, saving time in bulk mail preparation. The DL size is a common business standard, enabling efficient insertion of invoices, statements and marketing mailers. The envelope’s surface is compatible with handwriting, printed labels and many inkjet and laser printing systems.

Suitable for

• Mailing invoices and account statements
• Sending folded A4 documents and letters in DL format
• Office and business correspondence
• Mailshots and direct mail campaigns
• Manual and machine-fed addressing and sealing

How to use

Insert the folded document or other contents into the envelope so that the opening aligns with the top edge. Remove the protective strip from the self-adhesive closure and press firmly along the flap to ensure a complete seal. When preparing items for bulk mailing, verify that addresses and postage comply with postal requirements and allow ink or label adhesive to dry before feeding into printers or mailing machines. For machine feeding, ensure the envelope orientation and tray settings match the device recommendations.

Recommendations

Store envelopes flat in a dry, dust-free environment at moderate temperature and humidity to maintain adhesion and prevent warping. For printed addressing, test a small batch with your specific printer to confirm feed reliability and print quality. When sending confidential documents, consider additional inner protection such as a folded cover sheet or a security-tint option.
