Koaksiaalikaapelin kuorintatyökalu ks tools 115.1002 koaksiaalikaapeleille Ø 4,8–7,5 mm

Coaxial stripper ks tools 115.1002 for coax cables Ø 4.8–7.5 mm is a handheld stripping tool engineered for preparing coaxial cables used in TV, satellite and data installations. The tool strips the outer jacket, dielectric and inner conductor insulation on coax cables with diameters from 4.8 to 7.5 mm, delivering consistent and repeatable results. Its compact design and precise blade alignment help minimise damage to the conductor and dielectric, speeding up connector preparation and on-site repairs.

Advantages

The coaxial stripper offers fast, repeatable stripping operations with accurate control over strip lengths. Ergonomic handles and a compact body allow comfortable one-handed use in tight spaces. Precise blade geometry reduces the risk of nicking the inner conductor or cutting too deep into the dielectric, improving signal integrity after termination. Built for routine field use, the tool requires minimal adjustment between strips and maintains consistent performance over multiple operations.

Suitable for

• Stripping coaxial cables for TV and satellite installations
• Preparing cable ends for connector assembly in data and broadband systems
• On-site cable repair and maintenance work
• Work in confined spaces where compact tools are required

Key specifications

• Compatible cable diameter range: 4.8 mm to 7.5 mm
• Strips outer jacket, dielectric and inner conductor insulation
• Handheld, manual operation with ergonomic grip
• Compact dimensions for access in tight spaces
• Adjustable or fixed blade settings allowing repeatable strip lengths

How to use

Place the coaxial cable into the stripper’s guide, aligning it to the desired strip length. Close the tool around the cable and rotate or actuate according to the tool’s design to cut through the jacket and dielectric without damaging the inner conductor. Remove the cut sections of jacket and insulation, then inspect the conductor and dielectric for any nicks or remaining material. If required, make minor adjustments to the blade setting and repeat the operation until the desired strip quality is achieved. Follow connector manufacturer instructions for final assembly.

Recommendations

Use the coaxial stripper with cables within the specified diameter range (Ø 4.8–7.5 mm) and check blade condition regularly. Perform a test strip on scrap cable when changing cable types or after blade replacement to ensure correct strip depth. Keep the tool clean and store in a dry place to preserve blade sharpness and mechanical function.
