Rittal Kompakt-Schaltschrank BHT 300x400x200mm AX 1434.000 is a compact metal electrical enclosure with external dimensions 300 x 400 x 200 mm (width x height x depth). Designed to house electrical and electronic components, it provides a sealed housing that protects internal assemblies from dust and incidental contact while offering mounting space for DIN-rail components, terminal blocks and small control units. The enclosure is suitable for industrial and machine-level applications where a small, robust control cabinet is required in confined or field locations.

Advantages

The enclosure combines a compact footprint with a sturdy metal construction, delivering a sealed environment for electrical components and easy integration with DIN-rail systems. Its standardized dimensions and flat mounting surface simplify installation of terminal strips and small control modules. The metal housing supports secure grounding and mechanical protection, while the modest depth reduces required installation space without compromising accessibility for wiring and maintenance.

How to use

Install the Kompakt-Schaltschrank on a suitable mounting surface using the enclosure’s rear or side fixation points. Mount DIN-rail components, terminal blocks and small control units on the internal mounting surface or on DIN rails as required. Route power and signal cables through the provided knockout or cable entry points, ensure proper grounding of the metal housing, and secure the front panel after wiring. Follow applicable electrical standards and local regulations when connecting live circuits and performing commissioning.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, select appropriate cable glands and sealing accessories for any cable entries to maintain enclosure protection. Verify component clearance and ventilation needs for heat-generating devices, and ensure grounding and protective earth connections are installed according to standards. Use suitable mounting brackets or adapter plates for non-DIN components to optimize internal layout.
