Kuitu-duplexkaapeli LC/LC InLine 88523O 20 m OM3 50/125 µm

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/LC 50/125µm OM3 20m is a multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and data centre environments. With LC connectors on both ends and a 20-metre length, this OM3-grade cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and low-attenuation links where reliable, full-duplex communication is required.

Advantages

This duplex LC/LC fiber cable offers low insertion loss and stable optical performance across multimode links. The 50/125µm core/cladding geometry combined with OM3 modal bandwidth enables higher bandwidth over longer distances compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. The LC connectors provide a compact footprint, suitable for high-density patch panels and transceiver modules, while the 20 m length allows flexible routing in racks and cable trays.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in enterprise networks
• Connections between switches, servers and storage in data centres
• Horizontal and backbone multimode fiber runs within buildings
• Patch panel to transceiver and active equipment links

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: LC duplex on both ends
• Length: 20 m
• Mode: Duplex (full-duplex optical pair)
• Typical application: 10 Gigabit Ethernet and multimode optical networks

How to use

Route the cable avoiding tight bends and physical stress; maintain the recommended minimum bend radius to prevent excess attenuation. Clean LC connector endfaces before insertion using appropriate fiber cleaning tools to ensure low loss connections. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding duplex adapter or transceiver port until it clicks; ensure correct polarity for transmit and receive channels to establish full-duplex links. Secure excess cable length with Velcro or cable ties in a way that does not compress the fiber jacket.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC/LC duplex cable for short- to medium-length multimode links where 10 Gigabit performance is required. For installations in high-density racks, consider routing and strain relief to protect connectors and maintain signal integrity. Periodically inspect and clean connector endfaces to preserve optimal optical performance.
