Kuitu-kaapeli BlueOptics JE6E608QE8-NB001M-BO MTP OM4 1 m violetti

The BlueOptics JE6E608QE8-NB001M-BO MTP OM4 1 m Violet is a 1-metre fibre optic cable engineered for high-speed data transfer in InfiniBand and other high-performance networking environments. It uses OM4 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and MTP connectors on both ends, providing consistent light transmission and low loss across short to medium distances. The violet jacket color simplifies identification in dense cabling setups while the single-metre length suits rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch-panel connections where precise cable management is required.

Advantages

This OM4 cable offers elevated bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower OM classes, supporting higher data rates and extended reach for multimode installations. MTP connectors deliver multi-fibre connectivity in a compact form factor, enabling efficient port density and easier handling during installation. The 50 µm core is compatible with common multimode transceivers used in data centres and InfiniBand environments, ensuring interoperability and predictable optical performance.

Key specifications

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; observe the minimum bend radius specified by the system or fibre manufacturer. Align and insert the MTP connectors into compatible MTP adapter panels or transceiver modules until the connector latches. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to minimize insertion loss and reflectance. For best results, label both ends and secure the cable in cable management trays or spools to maintain bend radii and facilitate future maintenance.

Recommendations

Use dust caps when the cable is not connected and perform cleaning with proper fibre cleaning tools before installation. Match this OM4 MTP cable with compatible multimode transceivers and patching hardware to achieve specified performance; avoid mixing OM classes within the same link to prevent degraded bandwidth.
