Kuitu-kaapeli DeLOCK 86546 0,5 m LC SC violetti

The DeLOCK 86546 is a 0.5 m OM4 fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors, designed for full duplex high-speed data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and violet colour coding, this cable provides reliable connections between networking devices such as switches and media converters in data centres and other network environments where high bandwidth is required.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode construction with a 50 µm core supports high-bandwidth links over short to medium distances. LC and SC connectors enable compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment. The 0.5 m length minimises excess cabling in dense rack environments, and the violet colour coding facilitates quick identification and organisation of fibre runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to media converters
• Patch connections in data centres and server rooms
• High-speed multimode fibre links within network racks

How to use

Identify the LC and SC ports on your networking devices and align the connectors before insertion. Gently insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port until they click or are secured. Ensure cables are routed without sharp bends and avoid excessive tensile stress. For duplex operation, make sure transmit and receive sides are correctly paired.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium OM4 multimode links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Keep connector endfaces clean and protected when not in use, and follow your site’s cable management practices to prevent bending beyond the fibre’s minimum bend radius.
