Kuitu-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS77801-1.5 1,5 m LC keltainen

The ShiverPeaks BS77801-1.5 1.5m LC Yellow fibre optic cable is a single-mode patch cord engineered for high-speed, low-loss data transmission in network and telecommunications environments. It uses OS1/OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and LC connectors on both ends to provide a compact, duplex-ready connection. The 1.5 metre length and bright yellow jacket make it suitable for short interconnect runs in equipment racks, patch panels and active networking devices.

Advantages

This single-mode fibre cable offers low attenuation and stable signal integrity over short to moderate distances thanks to OS1/OS2 fibre characteristics and a 9 µm core. LC connectors provide a small-form-factor interface that fits high-density patch panels and transceivers. The LC-to-LC duplex configuration supports simultaneous transmit and receive channels, and the yellow jacket improves visibility for cable management. The cable is factory-terminated to ensure consistent connector performance and convenience during installation.

Suitable for

• Short interconnects between switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centres and server rooms
• Connecting single-mode SFP/SFP+ and other fibre transceivers with LC interfaces
• Telecommunications links and backbone segments requiring single-mode transmission
• Environments where clear cable identification and neat routing are important

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OS1/OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Length: 1.5 m
• Jacket colour: Yellow
• Transmission: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect connectors and cleaning caps before installation to avoid contamination. Route the cable along existing cable management paths, avoiding sharp bends and tight pulls that can increase attenuation. Align LC connectors with the corresponding LC ports on transceivers or patch panels and insert until the latch clicks. For duplex connections, ensure the transmit and receive channels are correctly oriented to establish bidirectional communication. When removing the cable, depress the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable in a clean environment and use appropriate fibre cleaning tools on connector endfaces before mating. Maintain minimum bend radius as specified by the equipment manufacturer and avoid repeated flexing near connector ends. Use labelled ties or markers to indicate function and endpoints for simplified maintenance and troubleshooting.
