Kuitukaapeli ShiverPeaks BS77941 1 m LC ST oranssi

The ShiverPeaks BS77941 1 m OM2 fibre optic cable with LC to ST connectors provides a short, duplex link for network equipment requiring multimode transmission. The cable features a 50 µm core diameter designed for OM2 graded-index multimode fibre and is finished in orange jacketing to denote multimode application. It is intended for reliable, high-speed data transfer between devices fitted with LC and ST ports in data centres, telecom racks, or campus networks.

Advantages

This 1 m OM2 fibre cable combines an LC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other to enable direct connection between equipment with differing multimode interfaces. The 50 µm core supports standard multimode transmission distances and maintains low insertion loss when installed and handled correctly. The orange jacket improves visibility in cable bundles and helps with correct identification of multimode links. Full duplex capability allows simultaneous bi-directional communication when paired with matching transceivers and cabling.

Suitable for

• Short multimode links in data centres and server rooms
• Interconnection between devices with LC and ST multimode ports
• Patch-panel to equipment connections within telecom racks
• Campus and enterprise network segments with OM2 infrastructure

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM2 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector A: LC (duplex)
• Connector B: ST (duplex)
• Jacket colour: orange (multimode identification)
• Transmission: full duplex multimode link

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness and remove dust or debris with a suitable fibre-cleaning tool before connecting. Align and insert the LC connector into the LC receptacle until it clicks and plug the ST connector into the matching ST port, ensuring the bayonet coupling is properly engaged. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM2 multimode fibre. Verify link status using connected equipment or optical test equipment to confirm acceptable signal levels and link integrity.
