Kuitukaapeli ShiverPeaks BS77951/3 1 m LC SC aqua

The ShiverPeaks BS77951/3 1m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC to SC connectors provides a short, high-performance link for data and telecommunication systems. Designed for multimode fibre networks, the cable has a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex communication over a 1 metre length. The aqua jacket identifies it as OM3 grade and helps with quick visual differentiation in racks and patch panels.

Advantages

This LC–SC OM3 cable delivers low attenuation and consistent multimode performance suitable for short-reach high-speed links. The connector combination allows compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels. Its 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter while the aqua-coloured jacket provides easy identification in structured cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Short-reach multimode links in data centres and server rooms
• Interconnects between switches, patch panels and transceivers
• Testing and temporary connections during installation or maintenance

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector types: LC (one end) and SC (other end)
• Length: 1 metre
• Configuration: duplex/full duplex
• Jacket colour: aqua

How to use

Inspect connectors for dust and contamination before insertion and use appropriate cleaning tools if required. Align the LC and SC connectors with their corresponding ports and push until they click or seat securely. Use careful routing to avoid tight bends; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. For duplex connections ensure correct polarity and that each connector is matched to the intended transmit/receive port.

Recommendations

Store unused connectors with protective caps and avoid exposing the fibre ends to contaminants. For reliable performance in datacentre environments, use this 1 m OM3 cable for short link segments and pair it with compatible OM3-rated transceivers and patching hardware. Regularly inspect and clean endfaces to maintain signal integrity.
