Kuitu-patchkaapeli BlueOptics SFP2121BU15MM 15 m LC, G.657.A1, violetti

BlueOptics SFP2121BU15MM is a 15 m single-mode fiber optic patch cable with LC connectors and G.657.A1 bend‑insensitive fiber. The cable is intended for indoor fiber links in data centers, telecom racks and network rooms where low insertion loss and high reliability are required. Its violet jacket and LC termination facilitate ordered cable management and easy identification in multi‑fiber installations, while the G.657.A1 fiber specification ensures stable performance in constrained routing paths.

Advantages

The BlueOptics patch cable combines single‑mode transmission with bend‑insensitive G.657.A1 fiber to reduce signal loss in tight bends and high‑density routing. LC connectors provide compact duplex connections compatible with most SFP transceivers and optical equipment. A 15‑metre length offers flexibility for inter‑rack and inter‑cabinet connections without requiring field termination. The violet jacket improves visual separation from other link types and helps maintain organized cable runs.

Key specifications

How to use

Route the fiber patch cable along existing cable management paths, avoiding sharp bends and crushing. Remove dust caps from the LC connectors immediately before insertion and insert the connectors into the corresponding adapter or transceiver until a firm click is felt. When disconnecting, press the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the connector. Store spare cable coiled loosely and protected from direct mechanical stress.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces with a fiber inspection scope before installation and use compatible LC adapters for duplex alignment. Maintain bending radius recommendations for G.657.A1 fiber and ensure patch panels and trays support the 15 m run without tight bends to preserve low insertion loss and long‑term reliability.
