Kuitukaapeli BlueOptics SFP9231FU3MK MDC LC OM4 3 m magenta

The BlueOptics SFP9231FU3MK MDC LC OM4 3 m Magenta is a 3-meter duplex fibre optic patch cord designed for high-bandwidth short-reach links. It uses laser-optimized multimode OM4 fibre (50/125 µm) and terminates with an MDC/UPC connector on one end and an LC/UPC connector on the other. The cable is intended for 850 nm transmission and features a flame-retardant LSZH jacket and a distinctive magenta outer sheath for easy identification in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

This fibre patch cord provides stable, low-loss connections for multimode applications where OM4 performance is required. The MDC to LC duplex termination supports compact port density while maintaining reliable signal integrity. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, and the magenta colour helps with colour-coded cabling schemes and fast visual identification in data centres and network racks.

How to use

Ensure both connected devices are powered down or follow hot-swap procedures recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Align the MDC connector with the corresponding port and insert until it clicks, then connect the LC connector to the matching LC receptacle. Avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and keep connector end-faces clean; use an appropriate fibre cleaning tool if necessary. Verify link status and optical power levels after installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to prevent sharp bends, kinks, and contamination. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use. For best performance in high-density installations, document magenta-coloured OM4 links in your patching scheme and test optical loss to confirm compliance with system requirements.
