Kuitukaapeli InfiniBand BlueOptics R5Z80-63001-BO, QSFP56–QSFP56, 5 m, turkoosi

BlueOptics R5Z80-63001-BO is a 5 m fibre optic InfiniBand active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP56 connectors on both ends, designed for 200GBASE-SR4 links. The cable provides high-bandwidth, low-latency optical connections for data centers and high-performance computing environments. It is lightweight (0.23 kg) and finished in turquoise for quick physical identification in cabling runs.

Advantages

The cable follows MSA-compliant QSFP56 specifications and supports simultaneous transmit and receive optical channels for 200 Gbit/s operation. Built using selected components from established optical and IC manufacturers, the AOC offers digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) support for real-time parameters such as voltage, temperature, transmit and receive power and laser current when the host supports the function. Optical transmission is immune to electromagnetic interference, enabling stable links across rack or adjacent-rack connections with minimal signal degradation.

How to use

Insert each QSFP56 connector into the corresponding QSFP56 port on the devices to be connected, ensuring proper alignment of the latch and connector housing. Verify host compatibility with 200GBASE-SR4 and enable digital diagnostics in the management interface if monitoring is required. Route the 5 m cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the specified minimum bend radius for AOC assemblies. No additional electrical or optical transceivers are required because the cable integrates the optical subassemblies within the QSFP56 ends.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach, high-bandwidth connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends, excessive twisting, and exposure to temperatures beyond the device specifications. Ensure connected hardware supports QSFP56 and the 200GBASE-SR4 profile for full functionality and access to DDM/DOM metrics.
