Kuitukaapeli METZ CONNECT 151P7EAJA50E SC LC I-V(ZN) H 5 m valkoinen

The METZ CONNECT 151P7EAJA50E SC LC I-V(ZN) H 5 m White is a 5-metre single-mode fibre optic patch cable designed for indoor networking installations. It uses G.657.A2 fibre, with a 9 µm core diameter and SC to LC terminated connectors to provide a compact, low-loss connection between equipment and distribution panels. The white jacket and I-V(ZN) H construction offer a neat appearance and installation compatibility with office and data centre environments.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low attenuation and good bending performance inherent to the G.657.A2 fibre type, enabling reliable signal transmission over short to medium indoor runs. SC and LC connectors deliver compatibility with a wide range of switches, transceivers and patch panels while the 5 m length reduces the need for additional couplers. The cable’s white jacket and standard indoor rating allow discreet routing and straightforward handling during installation.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network equipment and patch panels in data centres and server rooms
• Indoor fibre runs between telecom outlets and active devices in office environments
• High-density patching where SC and LC interfaces are required
• Short-distance single-mode links requiring improved bend performance

Key specifications

• Fibre type: G.657.A2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connectors: SC (one end) to LC (other end)
• Length: 5 m
• Cable jacket colour: White
• Cable construction: indoor rated I-V(ZN) H design

How to use

Route the cable along the planned indoor pathway avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress. Insert the SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or port and the LC connector into the LC transceiver or adapter until the connectors click into place. Verify link status on connected equipment and test optical insertion loss if required. For removal, release the connector latch before pulling to avoid damaging the ferrule or adapter.

Recommendations

Maintain bend radii consistent with G.657.A2 specifications to preserve optical performance; avoid tight wraps and excessive pulling force. Use cable management accessories to secure and separate fibre runs from electrical cabling and sources of mechanical strain.
