Kuitukaapeli METZ CONNECT 151S1EOEO10E 2x SC OM4 1 m pinkki

The METZ CONNECT 151S1EOEO10E is a 1 m OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable with dual SC connectors in a pink jacket. Designed for short-reach, high-bandwidth environments, this fibre cable features a 50 µm core diameter suitable for high-speed data links and InfiniBand applications. The cable provides reliable optical transmission between networking devices where multimode OM4 performance is required and its distinctive colour simplifies identification in dense cabling installations.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable delivers low-loss optical transmission and supports higher bandwidth over short distances compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. The SC-to-SC dual connector configuration ensures secure, easy insertion and removal in standard fibre ports. The compact 1 m length reduces excess cable slack in patching panels and rack-mounted setups, while the coloured jacket assists with visual cable management and quick identification of connection types.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack links
• InfiniBand and high-speed server interconnects
• Telecommunications rooms and fibre patch panels
• Short-reach optical links in enterprise networks

Key specifications

• Multimode fibre type: OM4
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: 2x SC to 2x SC
• Jacket colour: Pink

How to use

Connect one SC connector to the transmitting port and the other SC connector to the receiving port, ensuring the fibre endfaces are clean and undamaged before insertion. Avoid excessive bending of the cable; maintain bend radius recommended for multimode OM4 fibres when routing through panels or trays. For best signal integrity, use appropriate dust caps when connectors are not in use and follow standard fibre handling procedures to prevent contamination.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean fibre connectors with approved cleaning tools prior to installation. Use this 1 m OM4 patch cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links where multimode performance and easy identification are required; avoid using it for long-haul singlemode applications.
