Kuitukaapeli METZ CONNECT 151S1EOEO20E 2x SC OM4 2 m pinkki

The METZ CONNECT 151S1EOEO20E 2x SC OM4 2 m Pink is a factory-terminated multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-bandwidth data links. Built with OM4 multimode fibre and a 50 µm core diameter, this 2 metre cable supports demanding network applications where low attenuation and accurate modal bandwidth are required. The pink jacket improves visibility in patch panels and cable trays while the two SC connectors on each end provide secure, push-pull mating suitable for standard SC ports.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable delivers improved differential mode delay performance and a higher modal bandwidth compared with lower graded multimode fibres, enabling longer reach or higher speeds in data centre and enterprise environments. The SC connectors offer stable mechanical performance and a reliable physical contact interface. The 2 m length is convenient for rack-to-rack and patch panel connections, and the coloured jacket helps with zoning and port identification without additional labels.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches and transceivers
• InfiniBand and high-speed server interconnects
• Telecommunications rooms and structured cabling systems
• Laboratory setups and test equipment where clear cable identification is required

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC (push-pull duplex)
• Length: 2 m
• Jacket colour: Pink
• Termination: Factory-polished connectors for consistent optical performance

How to use

Route the cable through the rack or cable management system minimizing tight bends and avoiding sharp edges. Insert each SC connector into matching SC female ports until the latch engages; verify secure seating and check link status on connected equipment. When relocating or servicing equipment, disconnect by depressing the SC latch and gently withdrawing the connector. Store unused lengths coiled with a large bend radius to prevent microbending losses.

Recommendations

For best optical performance, use this OM4 cable with compatible OM4 transceivers and follow manufacturer recommendations for connector cleanliness. Clean connector endfaces before mating and avoid kinking the cable; maintain the minimum bend radius specified for multimode fibre to preserve signal integrity and reduce insertion loss.
