Kuitukaapeli METZ CONNECT 151S1JOJOA0E 10 m LC violetti

The METZ CONNECT 151S1JOJOA0E is a 10 m OM4 fibre optic cable with LC to LC connectors in violet. Featuring a 50 µm core diameter and multimode OM4 specification, this fibre cable is designed for high-speed data transmission with low attenuation and controlled modal dispersion. The cable's 10 metre length and LC connectors make it suitable for structured cabling in racks, patch panels and short-range high-bandwidth links within data centers and enterprise networks.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable delivers high bandwidth performance across short to medium distances, reducing the need for signal regeneration in many applications. The LC connector pair provides compact, industry-standard interfacing for transceivers and patch panels. The violet jacket aids quick visual identification in densely cabled environments and supports consistent routing practices. Low insertion loss and reliable connector performance contribute to stable link quality under typical operating conditions.

Suitable for

• Data centre rack-to-rack connections
• Patch panel to switch or transceiver links
• Short-range multimode fiber backbone within buildings
• High-speed LAN and SAN interconnects

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC (duplex)
• Length: 10 m
• Color: Violet
• Typical applications: 10G, 25G and 40G short-range links where OM4 is specified

How to use

Route the fibre cable along the planned pathways, avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress. Terminate by plugging the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on transceivers, patch panels or switches, ensuring correct orientation and clean connector end faces. Use appropriate cable management and strain relief to secure the cable and maintain bend radius guidelines. Verify link integrity with an optical power meter or network diagnostics after installation.

Recommendations

Prior to making connections, inspect and clean LC connector end faces with suitable fibre cleaning tools to minimise insertion loss. Maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre and avoid kinks. Store unused protective caps on connectors when not in use to protect ferrules and maintain performance.
