Kuitukaapeli ShiverPeaks 07-530615 OM5 7,5 m LC–SC 50 µm täysduplex harmaa/limetti

ShiverPeaks 07-530615 OM5 fibre optic cable is a 7.5 m multimode link engineered for short‑reach high‑speed data transmission. With a 50 µm core and full‑duplex capability, the cable features an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, enabling straightforward connection between devices with mixed port types. Intended for InfiniBand and other multimode environments, this grey/lime cable is optimized for rack interconnects, switches and data centre links requiring low-loss multimode performance.

Advantages

The OM5 multimode design supports enhanced wideband multimode applications and provides reliable signal integrity over short distances. Full‑duplex transmission reduces latency for bidirectional data flows while the LC–SC termination offers interoperability with common networking equipment. The 7.5 m length is suitable for structured cabling inside racks and between adjacent equipment, and the durable jacket provides mechanical protection in dense installation environments.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Rack interconnects and patching between switches
• Short‑reach data centre links and server connections
• InfiniBand systems and other multimode network applications
• Connections between devices with LC and SC ports

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 7.5 m
• Transmission: full‑duplex
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: SC
• Colour: grey with lime identification

How to use

Inspect both device ports and connector endfaces for contamination before installation. Align the LC and SC connectors with the corresponding ports and insert until a secure latch or click is felt; do not force the connector. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, keeping bend radius within manufacturer recommendations for multimode fibre. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to prevent damage to the ferrule.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools and visual inspection to maintain low insertion loss. Keep spare lengths coiled without tight bends and label both ends to simplify future maintenance. For critical links, verify performance with insertion loss and return loss measurements after installation.
