Kuitukaapeli ShiverPeaks S/CONN 2 m LC/ST monivärinen oranssi

The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 2m LC/ST Multicolour Orange fibre optic cable is a 2‑metre duplex patchcord engineered for high‑speed data transmission in local and campus networks. It uses OM2 multimode fibre with a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter and provides full duplex connectivity between devices with LC and ST terminations. The halogen‑free jacket and brightly coloured orange sheath improve safety and cable identification in dense installations.

Advantages

This LC/ST fibre patchcord supports reliable multimode transmission over short to medium distances and is suitable for network equipment with LC and ST ports. The 50/125 µm OM2 fibre maintains signal integrity for typical enterprise and data center links. The halogen‑free outer jacket reduces toxic gas emission in the event of fire, and the multicolour orange finish enhances route visibility and simplifies cable management. Duplex design ensures simultaneous transmit and receive channels for full duplex operation.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, transceivers and patch panels with LC and ST ports
• Multimode network segments in offices, data centers and telecom rooms
• Short to medium distance fibre links requiring full duplex communication
• Environments where halogen‑free cabling is specified for safety

Key specifications

• Length: 2 metres
• Connector types: LC to ST (duplex)
• Fibre type: OM2 multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Sheath: multicolour orange, halogen‑free
• Operation: full duplex

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable for damage before installation. Align the LC connector with the LC port and insert until it clicks; insert the ST connector into the ST port and twist or bayonet lock as required by the equipment. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and strain on the connectors; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for 50/125 µm multimode fibre. Use proper patch panel ports or adapter plates for neat termination and label both ends if required for identification.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable carefully to avoid sharp bends and physical stress. For optimal performance, clean connector endfaces before mating, follow installation bend‑radius limits, and use the cable within typical multimode distance ranges for OM2 fibre. Choose the orange halogen‑free jacket in installations where visibility and fire‑safety requirements are important.
