Kuitukaapeli VALUE 21.99.8827

VALUE 21.99.8827 is a 20 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex communication, the cable supports high-speed data transmission over multimode fibre and is suited for structured cabling in data centers and enterprise network environments where low loss and consistent signal integrity are required.

Advantages

The multimode OM3 construction provides better bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode types, enabling reliable short- to medium-distance links. Dual LC connectors on each end allow easy mating with LC ports commonly found on switches, transceivers and patch panels. The 20 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections without excessive slack, and the cable’s specifications support full duplex operation for simultaneous transmit and receive channels.

Suitable for

• Inter-rack connections in data centers
• Patch panel to switch or transceiver links
• High-speed Ethernet and Fibre Channel multimode links
• Server-to-switch connections within enterprise network racks

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Length: 20 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Mode: Full duplex
• Suitable for 10 Gbit/s and higher multimode applications within OM3 reach

How to use

Route the fibre optic cable between the two devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding tight radii that exceed the cable’s minimum bend radius. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it latches securely. Verify correct transmit-to-receive pairing for full duplex operation and perform a link test or use an optical power meter to check signal levels and continuity after installation. Avoid touching the endfaces; if contamination is suspected, clean the connector endfaces with approved fibre cleaning tools before connection.

Recommendations

For best performance, install the cable in protected cable management pathways or trays, maintain bend radii above the manufacturer’s minimum, and use dust caps when connectors are not mated. When used in data center environments, pair the cable with compatible LC ports and OM3-rated transceivers to ensure expected bandwidth and link distance.
