Kuitukaapeli VALUE 21.99.8837 20 m LC pinkki

The VALUE 21.99.8837 20 m LC Pink is an OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed, short- to medium-reach network links. With a 50 µm core diameter and LC connectors on both ends configured for full duplex communication, this 20 metre cable supports reliable data transmission in data centres, server rooms and structured cabling installations. The pink jacket provides clear visual identification for cable management and easy differentiation from other links.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode construction offers improved bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower OM grades, enabling higher data rates over the specified distance. LC duplex connectors provide a compact footprint and stable mating, while the 20 m length allows flexible routing between racks or equipment. The coloured jacket simplifies identification and helps maintain orderly cabling in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects and top-of-rack connections
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch multimode links
• High-speed LAN backbones and enterprise network segments
• Testing, lab setups and temporary installations requiring visible identification

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50 µm core
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Length: 20 metres
• Polarity: full duplex
• Jacket colour: pink

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable for damage before installation. Align LC connectors with the corresponding LC ports on equipment and insert until the connector latches securely. For duplex operation, ensure correct polarity between transmit and receive channels. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; maintain the recommended bend radius for multimode fibre to preserve signal integrity. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools when reconnecting to reduce insertion loss.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM4 fibre cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Avoid exceeding the maximum recommended bend radius and protect connectors with dust caps when not in use. Use this multimode LC duplex cable for distances and data rates compatible with OM4 specifications and the connected transceivers; verify transceiver and switch compatibility before deployment.
