Kuituoptinen duplex-kaapeli InLine 82510O SC/ST 50/125µm OM3 10m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/ST 50/125µm OM3 10m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for short- to medium-range high-speed data connections. It uses 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry and conforms to OM3 multimode performance characteristics to deliver reliable signal transmission between networking devices. The cable is fitted with two SC connectors on one end and two ST connectors on the other end, providing a straightforward interface for equipment that requires mixed connector types.

Advantages

This duplex fiber cable provides low insertion loss and controlled attenuation thanks to OM3-grade multimode fiber construction. The mixed SC–ST connector combination reduces the need for additional adapters when integrating equipment with different port types. With a 10 m length, it offers flexible routing in server rooms and office environments while maintaining predictable optical performance for Ethernet and storage networking links.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, transceivers and network equipment in data centers
• Patch panel to active device connections in enterprise LANs
• Short-distance multimode fiber links for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and similar applications

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Configuration: Duplex (2 fibers)
• Connectors: SC (2) to ST (2)
• Length: 10 m
• Typical applications: Ethernet, fibre channel, SAN interconnects

How to use

Route the duplex cable between devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding tight loops to prevent microbending losses. Insert the SC connectors into compatible SC ports and the ST connectors into compatible ST ports until they click or lock in place. Confirm proper polarity for transmit and receive fibers to ensure data flows correctly. When disconnecting, release connector latches or bayonet locks and withdraw straight out to avoid damaging the ferrules.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fiber cable according to standard practice for multimode fiber: keep connector end faces clean using appropriate fiber-cleaning tools, avoid excessive tensile stress, and maintain minimum bend radius as specified by typical OM3 cable handling guidelines to sustain performance over time.
