Kuituoptinen kaapeli BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-LC-15M-BO Aqua 15m OM3

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-LC-15M-BO Aqua 15m OM3 is a 15-meter multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed, short- to medium-range optical links. It uses laser-optimized OM3 multimode fibre and terminated connectors SC/UPC on one end and LC/UPC on the other, supporting full-duplex transmission for networking equipment, patch panels and optical transceivers. The cable is supplied with a flame-retardant LSZH outer sheath to reduce smoke and halogen release in case of fire.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable provides low attenuation and high return loss for reliable signal integrity over installed multimode links. Connectors use ceramic ferrules for stable mating and long service life, and components come from established manufacturers to ensure consistent performance. The assembly is factory-tested with interferometry and OTDR, and each cable is supplied with measured input loss and return loss data to document link quality.

How to use

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, maintaining the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. Clean connector endfaces before mating to patch panels or transceivers using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Insert the LC and SC connectors into the corresponding ports until they latch securely, observing correct polarity for full-duplex links. Use strain relief and cable management on racks or panels to prevent stress on the connectors during operation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment; always inspect and, if necessary, clean connector endfaces before installation. Use appropriate cable management and maintain bend radii to preserve OM3 performance. Refer to transceiver and equipment documentation for connector compatibility and polarity requirements.
