Kuituoptinen kaapeli BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-SC-2M-BO aqua 2 m SC SC

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-SC-2M-BO is a 2 meter OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with SC/UPC connectors at both ends, designed for high-bandwidth, low-loss optical connections. It is intended for linking patch panels, network switches, and optical transceivers in data centres and enterprise networks. The cable uses laser-optimized multimode OM3 fibre for increased bandwidth and supports full-duplex communication. The sheath is flame-retardant LSZH for reduced smoke and no halogen release in case of fire, and each cable is tested for insertion loss and return loss to meet industry quality requirements.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode fibre delivers enhanced bandwidth for short-reach 10G/40G/100G applications and generally shows lower attenuation and consistent signal integrity compared with older multimode types. SC/UPC connectors provide reliable ferrule alignment and stable mechanical performance. BlueOptics production uses branded optical fibres and established connector manufacturers, and each cable is tested with interferometer and OTDR to verify input loss and return loss. The LSZH jacket reduces hazardous emissions and smoke in case of fire, aligning the cable with common safety standards.

How to use

Select the BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-SC-2M-BO when you need a short multimode connection between two SC ports. Remove protective dust caps from the SC connectors before insertion and avoid touching the ferrule endfaces. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC port until it clicks or is seated firmly. For the best optical performance, keep cable bending within the recommended bend radius and route the cable to avoid tight loops, sharp edges or excessive tension. Refer to the supplied measurement protocol to confirm insertion loss and return loss values after installation.

Recommendations

Prior to installation, inspect and, if necessary, clean the connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Use cable management and strain relief to protect connectors and maintain the specified performance over repeated mating cycles.
