Kuituoptinen kaapeli BlueOptics CAB-SMF-SC-SC-15 15 m G.657.A1 SC SC

The BlueOptics CAB-SMF-SC-SC-15 is a 15 m singlemode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable network connections. It uses G.657.A1 singlemode fibre with a standard 125 µm cladding diameter and is terminated with SC connectors on both ends to provide stable, low-loss connections in telecom and data centre environments.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low attenuation and good bend performance characteristic of G.657.A1 fibre, enabling installation in constrained spaces and routed cable trays. The SC-SC terminations offer straightforward push-pull coupling for rapid assembly and easy handling. The 15 m length balances reach and manageability for connections between network racks, switches and active equipment.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network equipment in data centres and server rooms
• Patch panel to switch or router connections
• Vertical and horizontal cabling where singlemode performance is required
• Installations with limited bend radius or routed pathways

Key specifications

• Fibre type: G.657.A1 singlemode
• Length: 15 m
• Core/cladding: singlemode with 125 µm cladding diameter
• Connector type: SC on both ends (SC–SC)
• Typical application: singlemode patching for telecom and data networks

How to use

Connect each SC connector to the corresponding SC adapter or port on the devices to be linked, ensuring that connectors are clean before mating to minimise insertion loss. Route the cable following existing cable management channels, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile strain. Use appropriate clips or ties to secure the cable and maintain recommended bend radii for G.657.A1 fibre.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with approved fibre cleaning tools prior to installation. Avoid tight bending beyond the specified bend radius and do not apply excessive pulling force. For best performance, test insertion loss and reflectance after installation using suitable fibre test equipment.
