Kuituoptinen kaapeli BlueOptics SFP2222BU5MK SC G.657.A1 5 m keltainen

The BlueOptics SFP2222BU5MK SC G.657.A1 5 m Yellow is a single-mode fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable short-distance connections in telecommunication and data centre environments. With SC connectors on both ends and a 5 metre length, this cable follows G.657.A1 bending radius specifications to provide improved flexibility and lower signal loss in installations that require tighter routing. The yellow jacket provides clear visual identification for single-mode links and helps keep cable runs organized.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable uses SC connectors for simple push-pull mating and stable mechanical connection. Compliance with G.657.A1 ensures the fibre tolerates tighter bends without significant attenuation, making it suitable for routes with limited space or multiple bends. The 5 m length is suitable for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-panel connections while the yellow outer jacket aids identification and standardized colour-coding in networking environments.

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable jacket for damage before installation. Route the cable along intended paths avoiding sharp edges and excessive tensile stress. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place; ensure correct alignment and secure connection. For best signal integrity, avoid tight bends beyond the specified bend radius and keep the cable free from kinks. If removing the cable, pull the connector body rather than the fibre jacket to prevent strain.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment, keep connector end caps on until connection, and use proper cable management to maintain bend radius. For optimal performance, periodically inspect connectors for dirt and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools when needed.
