The optical splice closure features a robust design that resists harsh environments and large climate variations. Its compact casing is made of engineering plastics with anti-erosion properties against acids and alkalis, and it offers IP68 protection. The closure combines small external volume with high internal capacity and can be opened repeatedly for maintenance.

Advantages

The closure provides a reliable mechanical structure with anti-aging performance and corrosion resistance. Flexible arrangement of splice cassettes allows independent handling of each incoming optical cable and individual fiber strands. Built-in sealing ring and air valve improve protection and make the unit suitable for outdoor overhead, underground manholes, and embedded pipeline installations.

Key specifications

• Casing material: engineering plastics
• Protection rating: IP68
• Resistance: acid and alkali corrosion resistance
• Design: small external volume, large internal capacity
• Maintenance: re-openable for convenient servicing
• Cable compatibility: common optical cables and ribbon-type optical cables
• Internal organization: rotating splice trays (booklet-style) with sufficient fiber winding space

How to use

Install the closure at the chosen site (overhead, manhole or embedded pipeline) and route incoming and outgoing cables through the end ports. Arrange splice cassettes as required to enable separate access to each cable or fiber strand. Perform fiber splicing on the rotating trays, secure splices inside the trays, and wind excess fiber neatly in the provided space. Fit the sealing ring and close the casing; ensure the air valve is in place to maintain environmental protection.

Recommendations

For long-term reliability, verify seals and the air valve after installation and during periodic maintenance; store fibers without tight bends and follow standard fiber bending radius guidelines.
