cimco KabiFix 12 0030 (120030) is a manual cable stripper designed for precise removal of insulation from insulated electrical cables. The hand-operated tool enables controlled stripping without a power supply, making it suitable for on-site electrical installation, maintenance tasks and workshop use. Its compact design supports repeatable cuts and consistent strip lengths for single-core and multi-core insulated cables, offering a straightforward solution for electricians and technicians who require reliable manual cable preparation.

Advantages

The cimco KabiFix 12 0030 provides accurate, repeatable insulation removal through a mechanically simple and robust mechanism. Because it is manually operated, it requires no batteries or power source and is suitable for use in locations without electrical supply. The compact footprint and ergonomic handling reduce fatigue during repeated operations and make storage and transport easy. The tool is built to support consistent strip lengths and controlled cutting depth, which helps protect conductor integrity and reduces the risk of nicks.

Suitable for

• Stripping insulation from single-core electrical cables
• Preparing multi-core cables for connectors and terminals
• On-site electrical installation and repair work
• Workshop cable preparation and testing
• Situations requiring repeatable, manual cable preparation without power

Key specifications

• Operation: manual, hand-operated
• Application: insulated electrical cable insulation removal
• Design: compact mechanical stripper for repeatable cuts
• Typical use: single-core and multi-core insulated cables
• Power: no external power or batteries required

How to use

Place the cable into the tool according to the required strip length and close the mechanism to secure the insulation. Rotate or actuate the stripper as designed to score and remove the insulation while avoiding excessive pressure on the conductor. After cutting the insulation, withdraw the stripped section and inspect the conductor for nicks or damage. Adjust the positioning or depth control on the tool if available to achieve the desired strip length and to protect conductor strands.

Recommendations

Use the cimco KabiFix 12 0030 on cables within the tool's intended size range and perform regular visual checks of the cutting surfaces. Keep blades clean and replace them when wear affects stripping quality. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow electrical safety procedures when preparing live or potentially live conductors.
