How to use

Drill a hole matching the dowel diameter into the workpiece, apply appropriate wood glue or adhesive into the hole or on the dowel, insert the dowel until flush or slightly recessed, then trim or sand flush as needed. When used as a screw cover cap, mount the screw, fill or recess the hole to accept the plug, glue the plug in place and sand for a smooth surface. Follow standard woodworking safety and assembly practices.

Recommendations

For best results, select a drill bit sized to the dowel diameter to ensure tight fit; allow adhesive to cure fully before loading the joint and match plug appearance by light sanding or staining if necessary.
