Ladattava NiMH-akku Varta V2/80HFLAT 80 mAh 2,4 V

Varta V2/80HFLAT is a rechargeable NiMH battery with a nominal capacity of 80 mAh and a nominal voltage of 2.4 V. It is manufactured in a compact, flat cell format intended for low-drain electronic devices and specialised equipment where space is limited. The cell is engineered to provide stable output during typical discharge cycles and to support multiple recharge cycles, making it suitable for maintenance and replacement in compatible devices.

Advantages

The NiMH chemistry offers a balance between energy density and safety for everyday low-drain applications. The flat form factor enables integration into slim housings and devices with height constraints, while the 80 mAh capacity ensures predictable run times in small electronics. Rechargeability reduces the need for frequent disposable battery replacements and contributes to lower operating costs over the cell's usable life.

Suitable for

• Small portable electronics with limited internal space
• Specialised measuring instruments and medical devices that use flat cells
• Replacement cells in legacy equipment and maintenance kits
• Backup power for memory retention in low-drain circuits

Key specifications

• Chemistry: Nickel–metal hydride (NiMH)
• Nominal capacity: 80 mAh
• Nominal voltage: 2.4 V
• Form factor: flat, compact cell designed for low-profile installations
• Rechargeable: yes; suitable for multiple charge/discharge cycles
• Typical application: low-drain devices and specialised equipment

How to use

Install the cell according to the device manufacturer’s polarity markings and mounting orientation. Use a charger compatible with NiMH chemistry and the cell’s voltage to recharge; follow the charger instructions for appropriate charge current and termination method. Avoid charging in extremely high or low ambient temperatures. Replace the cell when capacity noticeably decreases or when the device indicates low battery performance.

Recommendations

Store unused cells in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures. For best long-term results, cycle the battery occasionally if stored for extended periods. Use a dedicated NiMH charger with correct voltage and current settings to prolong cycle life and ensure safe charging.
