Lämpötila- ja kosteusanturi testo 0572 6172 — -20…70 °C, 0…100 % RH

The testo 0572 6172 temperature and humidity probe measures air temperature from -20 to 70 °C and relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH. Designed for point measurements, the probe is compatible with testo handheld meters and instruments that accept this sensor format. It provides reliable, real-time readings for HVAC system checks, environmental monitoring and storage condition control, with straightforward insertion and sensor response suitable for spot checks and troubleshooting.

Advantages

The probe combines a wide temperature range with full-scale relative humidity measurement, enabling use in many indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Its sensor design delivers fast response and stable readings during standard measurement tasks. The compact form factor and standard connector allow easy exchange and integration with compatible testo measuring instruments. Measurement data can be used directly for on-site decisions or recorded via connected meters for documentation.

Suitable for

• HVAC commissioning and maintenance checks
• Indoor air quality and environmental monitoring
• Storage condition verification for non-extreme chambers
• Spot checks, troubleshooting and inspection of ventilation systems

Key specifications

• Measuring range (temperature): -20 to 70 °C
• Measuring range (relative humidity): 0 to 100 % RH
• Sensing principle: combined temperature and humidity sensor
• Suitable for point measurements and spot checks
• Connector type: compatible with corresponding testo handheld inputs

How to use

Connect the probe to a compatible testo meter according to the instrument instructions and allow the sensor to stabilise at the measurement point before reading values. For temperature and humidity readings, position the probe in the air stream or the location to be measured, avoiding direct contact with surfaces that could cause erroneous temperature readings. Wait until displayed values stabilise to ensure accurate spot measurements; longer exposure may be required when moving between significantly different environments.

Recommendations

For reliable results, perform measurements in representative positions away from direct sunlight, heaters or cooling vents unless those are the intended measurement points. Calibrate or verify the probe periodically according to your quality procedures and store it in a clean, dry place when not in use. Use compatible testo instruments and cables to ensure proper connection and measurement accuracy.
