How to use

Install the Cisco Catalyst 9115AXI-E at a central ceiling or wall location to maximise coverage. Connect the RJ‑45 port to a PoE-capable switch or injector to power the unit and provide network connectivity. Adopt and configure the AP via a compatible controller or Cisco DNA management platform to apply SSIDs, security policies and radio settings. Place additional access points as required to achieve seamless coverage and capacity across the deployment area.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in high-density environments, position access points to minimise co‑channel interference, enable Wi‑Fi 6 features (such as OFDMA and MU‑MIMO) on the controller, and use Cisco DNA for visibility and automated policy enforcement. Verify PoE budget on switches before deployment.
